Geophysicist at Look Up Geoscience

Before becoming a geophysicist, Fabien dreamed of being a meteorologist. From an early age, he had a passion for geography and maps. His childhood dream was to present the weather!
He also has a very pronounced taste for maths, the virtues of which he readily details to:
– meet intellectual challenges;
– solve problems and equations according to a clear, structured logic;
– communicate in a universal language, without cultural constraints;
– enjoy an infinite playground for discovery and exploration….
In a few words, he likes to investigate and find solutions.
He applies this approach every day in his professional life at Look Up Geoscience. A graduate of the Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre (EOST), with a specialization in seismic interpretation, Fabien has decided to take up what he sees as a major challenge for the future: accelerating the energy transition. To achieve this goal, he chose to participate in the design of an intuitive and accessible next-generation universal software platform. Together with Nicolas, Aloïse, Sébastien, Pierre, Lionel and Ehssan, Fabien is deploying his skills to:
- enhance exploration for low-carbon resources, such as geothermal energy and natural hydrogen;
- facilitate access to understanding of subsurface systems founded on diverse and sparse geoscientific data.
He is in charge, with Mariane, of geophysical R&D based on customer needs.
He is also a keen tennis player! Concentration, stress management, the ability to make decisions, learning to share and cooperate… these are all qualities he tests against his opponents and as part of a team when he plays doubles.
With Fabien, the path is clear: you must build and collaborate to win. Game, set and match!
