Accelerating the energy transition

Decarbonation objective
The energy transition, or even [R]evolution, is one of the great challenges of the century. It requires us to explore and exploit the subsurface resources needed to achieve the goal of decarbonazing the atmosphere. The geosciences provide crucial information for understanding the subsurface.
A “Google Earth” of the subsurface
The acceleration of the energy transition requires us to simplify the lives of geoscientists and provide them with easy-to-use software tools.
Making life easier for geoscientists

Universal and intuitive software platform
Users need to improve the exploration of low-carbon resources, such as geothermal and natural hydrogen, but also critical minerals, wind turbines… They need to model geological resource systems to make reliable, efficient decisions quickly..
New-generation software platform
Geoscientists need to understand subsurface systems based on scattered and heterogeneous geoscientific data, and quickly identify areas of interest within a given space. They also want to model geological resource systems to make reliable and effective decisions in a short timeframe.
Co-constructing with users
An active community of users is involved in co-designing the software, sharing their needs, difficulties and solutions. They have clearly identified the technological challenge ahead: successfully displaying, processing and interpreting all geophysical methods on a single software platform. Indeed, the multitude of data and their interweaving provide invaluable information for resolving geological ambiguities and obtaining a more accurate and reliable model.
What values?
The Look Up Geoscience team builds its project around strong values and a founding ethic. Openness, listening, teamwork and information sharing are at the heart of our approach.
This collective intelligence, the spirit of responsibility that drives the various professionals and their willingness to share data, offers exciting prospects.
Only a global vision, clear motivation, and a compelling desire to work together will enable us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the long term.
